Susan B. Taboda MS, APRN
Sue TabodaAdvanced Practice Nurse Practitioner specializing in Vein Disorders
Susan brings her years of experience with patients as well as her compassion to Vanishing Veins. Her talent of listening to patients’ issues and addressing their concerns is very well received and enables her to stand out as an excellent Practitioner. Thoroughness and caring are very strong quality traits. Given her background as an educator, she takes a lead role in the education of our patients regarding their venous disorder and personalized treatment plan. Sue takes the time needed to make every patient feel comfortable and at ease, a rare trait in medicine today. But that is one of the reasons why Vanishing Veins sets itself apart from other vein centers.
Ms. Taboda began her nursing career in 1985 where she received her BSN from the University of Maryland. Susan has an extensive nursing history in critical care, as well as post anesthetic care. She has worked at Westchester County Medical Center and has been fortunate to be an Intensive care unit and cardiac care unit nurse in Bermuda for three years.

Returning to the states, Susan continued her career in post anesthetic nursing at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Realizing her special talent in teaching and interacting with others, she was promoted to staff educator. In this capacity, she was solely responsible for instructing new nurses. She also taught critical care nursing, not an easy subject and one of the most demanding areas of nursing. Following her move to CT, she worked part time for plastic surgeons in NYC and began her love for aesthetic medicine leading her to Vanishing Veins, combining both cosmetic and medical vein treatments.
She received her master’s in nursing from the University of CT and is board certified in adult primary care medicine. Susan joined our practice in 2009.

Susan is a mother of 2 and lives in Farmington Valley.
